Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscles on the face associated with facial expressions that cause wrinkles. Treatment with botulinum toxin can cause your facial expression lines or wrinkles to be less noticeable or essentially disappear. Areas most frequently treated are: Glabellar area (frown lines between the  eyes) Crows feet (lateral eye) Forehead wrinkles Radial lip lines (smoker's lines) Head and neck muscles Teeth clenching (bruxism) Botox is diluted to a very controlled solution and injected into the muscles with a very thin needle. You may feel a slight burning sensation when the solution is injected, but it's almost painless. The procedure takes about 15-20 minutes and the results can last up to 3 months—sometimes sooner or longer.  With repeated treatments, the results tend to last longer.
