First used for its healing effects after open heart surgery, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) quickly became a popular sports injury treatment. In the aesthetic world, PRP has many uses:

–It rejuvenates skin for a younger appearance
–It helps with scarring from acne or stretch marks
–It can thicken thinning hair and help with receding hairlines

PRP has little downtime, is safe with minimal risk, and creates a natural-looking result. Since plasma is made by the human body, allergies are virtually eliminated.

NOTE:

• The number of treatments needed (usually recommend 3) cannot always be accurately
predicted. Appropriate intervals between treatments (usually 3 weeks) are needed to allow the healing process to complete the cycle.
• Any successful skin rejuvenation treatment is cumulative in the overall improvement of skin health, and therefore the skin’s appearance.

• Smokers do not heal well and problems recur earlier and results may take longer.
