Sclerotherapy treats veins that are twisted and enlarged (varicose veins) and dark spider veins, a mild form of varicose veins. A sclerotherapy solution is injected into the vein, causing it to scar. The scarring forces blood through healthier veins and the collapsed vein fades. This takes a few weeks, although veins might not disappear completely. It can take a month or more for full results. Some veins need more than one sclerotherapy treatment. Areas most frequently treated are: Botox is diluted to a very controlled solution and, when injected into the muscles with a very thin needle, it's almost painless.  You may feel a slight burning sensation when the solution is injected. Results are evident in about 3 days and will last up to 3 months (or longer).  With repeated treatments, the results tend to last longer.
